Blue-Eyed White Giant Angoras are rare and incredibly beautiful. They are listed in the Angora Standard, but until recently the animal could not be found. The gene in BEW is the Vienna gene. This is not to be confused as the Ermine gene. True BEW have sky blue eyes and are solid white, whereas Ermine's may be blue when they are kits, but turn darker (blue-gray or blue-gray with brown flecks) as they get older and they may have a few dark hairs on the face, nose, ear lacings, etc. There are a few good sites on the internet that go into detail about the BEW's. Please take the time to research this amazing breed.
